Nursing Lens (N Lens, LLC) and its employees are committed to diligently adhering to its Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) which sets forth standards to protect individuals’ medical records and other personal health. Nursing Lens employs appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of personal health information and sets limits and conditions on the uses and disclosures that may be made of such information without patient authorization. The NPP also describes a patient’s rights over their health information, including rights to examine and obtain a copy of their health records and to request corrections.

Nursing Lens is committed to providing patients with quality health care in a confidential manner in accordance with applicable laws.  These standards apply to Nursing Len’s interaction with its patients, other health care providers, consultants and applicable regulatory bodies responsible for overseeing the laboratory’s operations, and public and private third-party payors (e.g., Medicare and Medicaid, managed care companies, and HMOs).

Nursing Lens requires all personnel and affiliated practitioners to maintain the confidentiality and security of a patient’s health information in accordance with state and federal standards.
